Hello Chocolate Lovers and Connoisseurs,

This weekend we will be visiting our friends at Chrysalis Vineyards for their annual Jazz Festival. We have been there the last two years and it has always been great fun. What can be better than good wine and chocolate?

Mother’s Day 2009 is coming fast!

April 27th, 2009

Did you have any chance to think about what to get this important woman in your life yet? We have a few familiar ideas, that just might fit the bill (literally):

Our crystallized ginger is very juicy and full of flavor, without being too sharp.

Remember our Champagne Truffles earlier this year? Well, they have been requested again and why not - they do taste delicious and Mother’s Day is an occasion worthy something special.

Something completely new, which I haven’t done before is a separate line of caramel bonbons. We will feature Rhubarb, Apricot, and Morello Cherry, all coated in rich, dark Valrhona chocolate. No picture available, as I will be making them for the first time today to get started with the recipe testing & tasting :)

We also feature our Small Gift Baskets for Mother’s Day, as well as our Chocolate Tea Gift Towers, including the caramels as well.

Everything will be available in our online shop and ship the week of Mother’s Day, to arrive in time. Don’t be shy, if something is out of stock or you would like to request something special, just give us a call or write an email and we will assist you with your inquiry.

Last thing: Don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter, as our email customers get special pricing and/or discounts, which now-a-days can make a difference!

Happy Thanksgiving Day

November 27th, 2008

All of us at Chocolaterie Wanders wish you a happy Thanksgiving Day.

Melanie and I will both be working today, although we will try to get home in the early afternoon to start cooking. We did most of the prep work last night and honestly I can’t wait :)

We hope you all enjoy the day with your family and/or friends and for just one day forget all the worries and be thankful for who you are and where you are in life - we know we will.

Now back to making chocolate confections …… don’t you know it from me - but Santa has placed an order with us ;)
