LOCAL CHOCOLATIER UNVEILS CHERRY BLOSSOM CONFECTION
Manassas, VA, February 18, 2007 – To commemorate the 95th anniversary of the gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mr.Yukio Ozaki, Mayor of Tokyo, to the people of the United States, Chocolaterie Wanders of Manassas, Virginia is pleased to present its limited edition Cherry Blossom confection.
Inspired by the bright flavors of the season and the glistening blossoms that signal the rejuvenating arrival of spring, the two-toned confection features housemade cherry marzipan set atop a dark chocolate ganache studded with kirsch-soaked dried cherries all enveloped in 70% dark chocolate and finished with a crystallized flower blossom. Featuring clean lines and simple elegance, the confection is a wonderful way to share the festivities of the National Cherry Blossom Festival with family and friends in the Metro DC area and beyond.
