Manassas, VA, November 13, 2007 – Manassas-based chocolatiers Melanie and Wilhelm Wanders have teamed up with Chris Pearmund, winemaker and managing partner of Pearmund Cellars in Broad Run, Virginia to produce the newest addition to Chocolaterie Wanders’ confectionary repertoire: Wine Pâte de Fruit.
The perfect compliment to holiday feasts, each twelve piece box features Pearmund Cellars’ world-class wines paired with select fresh fruit purees. Included are Chardonnay/Pear, Viognier/Mirabelle Plum, Ameritage/Forest Berry, and Lisa’s Merlot/Cassis. Thickened only with natural fruit pectin, the wine pâte de fruit are suitable for vegetarians.
